AD Design Show will change how you experience design and architecture

The AD Design Show 2018—Mumbai‘s luxury art and design fair—which makes its debut on October 26, 27 and 28, is conceptualised as a three-day uber luxe experience for art and design connoisseurs. The premier event will bring together some of the world’s most leading luxury brands and contemporary art galleries under one venue—the Dome@NSCI, SVP Stadium, in Worli—and will showcase works curated across five exclusive categories: furniture, art, antiques, accessories and lighting.

The AD Design Show is for art and design connoisseurs, patrons and practitioners alike, who want to participate in the intersection of art, design and architecture. There are a host of curated programmes and interactive zones, kicking off with a keynote lecture by Pritzker Prize-winner BV Doshi and followed by power talks led by Vincent Van Duysen, Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Nozer Wadia and Bijoy Jain; the Power to the Karigar initiative, where craftspersons will showcase their magic with textile, wood, and ceramics (Maximiliano Modesti, Rehwa x Anavila, Curators of Clay); cutting-edge installations (Alex Davis, ‘Bombay’); and a walkthrough of a contemporary popup apartment inspired by society maven Laura Hamilton.

Greg Foster, editor, Architectural Digest India, says, “The AD Design Show will be like the magazine come to life—from its highly curated approach to finding unique brands, and with areas dedicated to live craftsmanship and new talent, it will be a weekend to remember for the design community.”
